yes i know, still no track list, get off my back.
i have an essay due 2mro that I'm nowhere near completing, i have a lab test I'll inevitably fail and all i have is a love of cult as fuck music to get me through the night. But its all chur, in my procrastination I have some to a few conclusions:
1. Metal needs more love.
2. Pop music needs to be destroyed
3. Christian's bombing dio's funeral must die
4. Even if one hates slipknot one must realise that slipknot is one of the best gate way bands to get angsty teens over to the dark side. So we must pay tribute to the loss of our latest comrades in metal: Peter Steele (carnivore and type o negative), Ronnie James Dio (THE holy diver) and finally Paul Grey (Slipknot).
also, for people who don't know... slipknot are nearing on forties and the simple fact that 9 (now 8) 40 year olds manage to inspire millions of tweens to break free of commercial music and begin to join the darkside is admirable and even if you aren't keen on the music (me included) you should atleast feel a sence of loss.
the thing that seperates true metal fans from the rest of the world is:
Loyalty to the music
Passion in the music
Love of the music
and brotherhood and allegiance between the artists and the fans as well as between the fans themselves.
for everyone who's forgotten that, i hope this has reminded you.
so spread the love.
Yours,
Ayman
